Adaptive Kayaking

Three different types of adaptive kayaking opportunities are available to you!

“Come Try It” events are half-day gatherings where you can take a short outing to see if kayaking is a sport for you. If you like it, the Foundation offers you options to improve your kayaking skills and to take guided paddling trips.

Want to improve your kayaking skills? The Foundation can offer training from American Canoe Association (ACA) certified instructor. The half to full-day programs include instruction on the kayaking environment, safety and rescues, equipment, paddling skills and maneuvers.
